ΑΝΑΚΥΛΩΣΗ / UPCYCLING

Μερικές φορές με λίγη φαντασία μπορούμε να πάρουμε ανεπιθύμητα ή απορριφθέντα αντικείμενα που μας ανήκουν ή να τα βρούμε και να τα μετατρέψουμε σε όμορφα έργα τέχνης ή έπιπλα που γίνονται το επίκεντρο κάθε χώρου. Για παράδειγμα, ανακαινίζαμε μια παραδοσιακή αγγλική παμπ στο Λονδίνο, όπου οι Onwers ήθελαν να έχουν ένα πιο μποέμικο στιλ. Το υπόγειο παμπ ήταν γεμάτο από παλιά τραπέζια glasstop που ήταν έτοιμα να πεταχτούν. Είχαμε λοιπόν την ιδέα να αφαιρέσουμε το ποτήρι και να προσθέσουμε μια εκτύπωση σε αυτό. Τα τραπέζια που καθαρίσαμε και βάψαμε σε διαφορετικά στυλ σε μερικά που χρησιμοποιήσαμε σπρέι σε άλλα χρησιμοποιήσαμε παραδοσιακά χρώματα. Τα αποτελέσματα ήταν όμορφα. Κατά τους επόμενους μήνες, αναμφίβολα θα ξεκινήσουμε κάποια νέα έργα τα οποία θα δημοσιεύσουμε στο διαδίκτυο.

Sometimes with a little imagination we can take unwanted or disgarded items which we own or find and turn them into beautiful pieces of art or furniture which become the focal point of any space. For instance, we were renovating a traditional English pub in London, where the onwers wanted to have a more Bohemian style. The pubs basement was full of old glasstop tables which were ready to be thrown away. So we had the idea of removing the glass and adding a print to it. The tables we cleaned and painted in different styles on some we used sprays on others we used traditional paints. The results were beautiful. Over the coming months we will no doubt start some new projects which we will publish online.
